Cardrona Alpine Resort is a relaxed and friendly ski and snowboard resort located between Wanaka and Queenstown. Friends, families, those living nearby, those from faraway, skiers, snowboarders, teenagers, kids and senior citizens, anyone and everyone are welcome at Cardrona. We have specialist slopes for beginners, wide open groomed slopes for intermediates, chutes for the advanced and an extensive park for freestylers.
Coronet Peak
Queenstown's Coronet Peak is one of the South Island's most popular ski areas. Diverse terrain, fantastic views, proximity to Queenstown and a cosmopolitan ambience create a superb winter experience for every level of snow sport enthusiast. Coronet Peak has 280 skiable hectares accessed by a six seater express chair, an express quad, a double chair, a t-bar, magic carpet and beginner tow. Remarkables
High in The Remarkables mountain range near Queenstown, The Remarkables Ski Area offers a true alpine experience in three sunny bowls where 220 skiable hectares of terrain spreads across 700 hectares of reserve. Three quad chairs, one magic carpet and one beginner tow offer access to the trails and parks.
The Remarkables is a great place to soak up winter sun and watch the playful antics of New Zealand's native parrot, the Kea where the emphasis is on fun.
Treble Cone
Spread over three large basins there are trails to suit all ages and skill levels. From the purpose-built learner area with a Magic Carpet Lift, to comfortable, groomed green and blue runs, through challenging black runs and secret powder stashes, Treble Cone has great terrain for all levels of ability.
